This is probably where I really met a lot of the closer friends I still have to this day from the original ETA raves.
I had actually made the Evangelion flyer at the same time as UrbanDome. I was super new to making flyers but knew that
if I was going to do an Evangelion themed rave, it had to be good. I got back into blender for a sec following
this tutorial to make the EVA, then did the rest in Photopea as usual.
It's kind of nostalgic for me to think about because I was working in a vacuum shop which was pretty slow in the summers. It was
just me and my friend at the time so we would play chess, go down Wiki rabbit holes, and I would eat up all the ram on those
crappy monitor-PC setups editing my little projects on company time. I was super proud of it.
Shirts by Spirit Glocks. These were fun.
The rave promo itself was probably the biggest step forward in development from Rave Evangelion. I made a super fleshed out video
using japanese voice actors from Fiverr, spent a week editing a promo video, worked with spiritglocks on two shirt designs,
and made multiple special graphics for the lineup all while RavePal and Cataclysm were being released.
One of the promo images.
Other than that though, for some reason this rave doesn't bring up much in my memory. The only thing that really comes to mind
is the fact that 2 of my backup USB's stopped working and Plexos just ended up doing a set in place of our Mocked Club tribute.
One of the few picutres I have from this set.
Maybe I will have more to say if I ask people in attendance.
